Liberty Cap and Nevada Fall, Yosemite National Park
The previous winter had seen heavy snows in the Sierra, so by June, Nevada Fall was ripping as tons of water fell 600 feet onto the rocks below. As shadows played across the granite face of Liberty Cap, the whole valley seemed to hum and shake, from the sound of falling waters.
