Second Lake, Temple Crag, and Ominous Clouds
Second Lake, on the North Fork of Big Pine Creek, near Big Pine, California. The intense green color of the water is rare in the Sierra - it's caused by suspended particles in the water called "glacial flour", carried down from the nearby Pallisade Glacier.
