High Winds Over Mount Shasta, 7-October-2018
Hurricane-force winds drive snow and clouds over the summit of Mount Shasta (14,180 ft / 4,322 m), as its satellite cone Shastina (12,335 ft / 3,760 m) stands nearby in sunshine. If you look closely you can see two of Mount Shasta's glaciers - on the left is the Bolam glacier, and in the center (over Shastina's shoulder) is the lower part of the Whitney glacier.
