Beautiful Uncooperative Clouds, Mt. Shasta, California, 6-June-2020

Before sunrise, the high clouds looked promising, but low clouds to the east ended up stealing much of the light. And shortly after this photo, the summit disappeared behind mid-level clouds. When the summit finally reappeared nearly an hour later, the lacy high clouds had vanished, leaving just a boring blue sky. Oh, well...that's part of the adventure of landscape photography. No matter...it was still a beautiful spring morning on mighty Mt. Shasta. #HighWildPlaces #MtShasta
